Harvested in first week of January, this 2026 batch of Nilgiri Winter Frost White Tea is as good as it gets. The winter harvest in Nilgiri always aims for perfection and achieves it without a blip. This one is no exception, clean and delicious white tea which preserves the freshness of the leaves and the terroir.
The dry leaf smells like mango, when placed on the heated ware, you get a well rounded sweetness of coconut milk. On your first sip, beautiful white flower notes greet you. They are close to jasmine and rajnigandha(tuberose). As you sip further, you enjoy the sweetness of palm and mango sugar candies. You can experience a hint of honey in the tea as well, blending well with the sweet and floral notes. There is a touch of eucalyptus and fennel seeds, extremely mild and that is what we would prefer in our tea too! Once again, the wonderful folks at Nilgiris have achieved a delicious enjoyable tea and we are sure you will love it!
