Well, against all odds, we have it in stock! Elated to offer a beautiful wild white tea batch from Autumn 2024. It has been difficult to get teas from the region since 2023 but our perseverance and kind heartedness of our tea makers in Manipur finally paid off.
Handcrafted and stored for 1.5 years, this one is one of the finest batches we have got our hold on yet. Absolutely not smoky, even after 1.5 years of storage is what we are especially happy about when it comes to this batch.
The dry leaf smells sweet with hints of fennel and guavas. As you have your first sip, you are greeted with notes of grapes. As you sip further, you can enjoy more fruity notes of Indian jujube and ripe banana. As you continue, you will be greeted with notes of honey with a nectar like floral quality to it. The aftertaste is creamy and fruity, with notes of raw peach. This taste quite like honeysuckle flower nectar too. There is a ripe tamarind like sweetness on offer too. On the fruity front, you can experience notes of red apples as well. But, these notes do not do justice to the liquor description. The beauty is in how they come together for a thick and coherent brew, absolutely impeccable tea which will leave you refreshed and satisfied.
