Introducing Nilgiri Highland White, after a very very long wait! This time, we are going for the summer batch. It is grown in Coonoor, Nilgiri at an altitude of 6300 feet. Their motto is to preserve the leaf's character resulting in some exceptional teas. The people making this tea work hard in the misty Nilgiris bringing you this experience, the steep slopes are not an easy place to work! This is a low oxidation white tea, rolled well and has some tips too.
The dry leaf smells like raw mangoes. When placed on the heated ware, you get notes of lemon and cream. As you have your first sip, you get notes of ripe mangoes and white flowers.
