Presenting one of the most sought after teas on our shop, the delicious 2026 Meghalaya First Flush. Produced by Lakyrsiew Estate once again, they have upped their game once again! Carefully preserving the spring vigour, this one oozes fruit and florals. Situated besides Umiam Lake, the picturesque landscape for sure adds a unforgettable touch to their teas.
The dry leaf has an unmistakable aroma of oranges and citrus blossoms, extremely refreshing and fruity. When placed on the heated ware, you get aroma of freshly baked butter cookies along with a hint of florals. On the first sip, you get a blast of white flowers, consisting of a wide assortment. Dominant in jasmine and plumeria notes. As you sip further, the fruity character greets you. You are first greeted with notes of sweet oranges. As it cools down further, you can taste guava. There a hint of rose as well, sharp and perfumy. The astringency tastes like eucalyptus and raw guava, extremely refreshing on the palate. Its more floral than fruity this time, marking a refreshing change. The weather has done its thing and so have the beautiful tea makers, presenting you with a tea which will bring a lot of happiness to your day!

Steeping Time : 3 minutes western style, 25 seconds gongfu style adding 5 seconds every subsequent steep, its a good idea to stack first 2 brews of 25 seconds for gongfu, brews very delicious tea that way
Leaf to water ratio : 1.1 gram per 100ml for western style, 3 grams per 100ml for gongfu style
Recommended Steeping Temperature : 85°C
Recommended Steeping Method : Works good both ways
