Introducing the 2026 version of our favourite Assam Second Flush Black Tea. Tippy as ever, this one is no different from last year. Produced by the very skilled artisans at Latumoni village, this is the best Assam second flush money can buy right now! We have been continuously working with the folks at this farm and only have great things to say about them! This year's version provides the same punch, sweetness and maltyness we have come to expect from these teas.
The dry leaf has a sweet aroma, resembling jaggery. When placed on the heated ware, the malt shines along with notes of agarwood. As you have the first sip, the robust Assam malty notes greet you, with a sweet finish of caramel. On further sips, once it cools down, you can experience notes of sweet red cherry. There is a hint of rose on the finish too, lasting enough for a good aftertaste. If you gong fu brew it, the floral notes come second steep onwards, while the first one maintains the malt, jaggery and honey like sweetness. The tea is also creamy, along with the surprise notes of star anise, this almost tastes like a dessert which also wakes you up!
