Processed like the Darjeeling first flush, this makes sure you experience the gentleness of spring in your cup! Carefully preserved leaves and bud make this a beauty to drink as well as look at!
The dry leaf smells fruity, with notes of pears dominating it. When placed on the heated ware, you get a fruity whiff with a background of candied pear. On your first sip, you can taste delicious fruity notes of apples and pear. On further sips, you can experience notes of cherry and marigold. There is just a hint of astringency, unlike many other first flushes we offer, making this taste similar to a smooth low oxidation white tea. As you sip further, you get notes of butterscotch and honey. There is a small hint of cinnamon as well, adding to the complex sweetness this one has to offer! One of the finest leaves we have seen from Sikkim, this one is going to awe you with its complexity and smoothness!
