Sikkim Oolongs are a thing of joy and we are happy to share this one with you! This one was harvested in March 2025, made using T78 cultivar. Apart from the usual oolong processing, the wonderful teamakers at Bermiok Estate finish this tea with a wood fired pan roast, enhancing the tea to perfection. New Sikkim stock was long overdue, we hope you enjoy the spring freshness it has to offer!

The dry leaf smells sweet with notes of roasted pistachios and a hint of chocolate. When placed on the heated ware, you get notes of marigold and hazelnut. The first sip greets you with a complex profile of fruits, nuts and honey. In the first sip, you can experience notes of ripe plum. As you sip further, the dry fruit notes of pistachios and hazelnuts make an appearance. The tea has dates notes to offer as well, adding to the sweetness and fruity character. There is a hint of muscat grape not as well, more noticeable when the tea is hot. Overall, this tea makes for a comforting cup, lacking in any kind of sharpness, perfect for the times you want a hug in a mug!
