Presenting Arunachal Candy Black Tea, once again from our favourite small tea grower. The first candy series tea which is not from Nilgiri, this is grown at an altitude of 4000 feet. Made from cultivars S3A3 and P126, this is one of the most refreshing teas we have tried in a while!

The dry leaf smells like aloe vera. When placed on the heated ware, you get notes of lantana, oranges and a hint of fennel. On the first sip, you notice the floral notes of lantana and marigold along with the signature orange hard candy note. On further sips, you can taste a little bit of caramel with a drying finish of orange bitters. The astringency is extremely refreshing paired with notes of oranges and lantana, the astringency can be compared to that of orange peel. The aftertaste is very long with notes of custard apple, it is even longer if you brew it gong fu style. Also, when brewing gong fu style, you get to experience stronger floral notes and many brews have a hint of mango fruit leather.
