This is our second last offering from 2021 Autumn harvest from Arunachal Pradesh and we are happy to serve you this delightful tea! This is also one example of low oxidation blacks from the region, which makes the finer details about the terroir stand out.

The dry leaf has a chocolate and nut like aroma which when placed on heated ware, intensifies into a roasted nutty palate with a sugary finish. The wet leaves after the first infusion come to life and have notes of lavender and sweet gooseberry preserve(आंवला मुरब्बा). The first infusion is dominant in nutty, chocolaty and sweet gooseberry preserve note. The defining feature of this tea makes an appearance when you do the second brew, although it shows up nicely in the first brew if you brew it western style. The second gong fu infusion has notes of marigold, rose and lavender.  The third infusion get a little sweet and fruity with notes of orange and apple. There is the floral background to it too, resembling rose. There is a walnut like short finish as well, adding to the complexity of this fine tea. We hope you enjoy these offerings we have found though months of tasting and enjoy the upcoming summers with them!
