Happy to offer a second flush Darjeeling black tea after a long wait, probably 4 years! In our quest to switch up the seasons and infuse some freshness into our collection, the universe conspired to hook us up with some amazing teas and we're thrilled to share them with you. This tea is from the prestigious Giddapahar Tea Estate and is made from AV2 cultivar.
The dry leaf has aroma of roasted pistachios with a hint of dried apricots and apple in the background. When placed on the heated ware, the beautiful leaf comes to life and you can enjoy notes of roasted hazelnut and caramel, like your favourite caramel hazelnut bar! The infusion is like no other tea, with notes of caramel and chocolate greeting you as soon as you take the first sip. As you take further sips, you are greeted with notes of hazelnut and cinnamon. The finish has a touch of spice with notes of cassia and star anise. There's a fruity part to the liquor as well, resembling red apples. The aftertaste is long with notes of apple staying with you for a very long time. We hope you enjoy this beautiful tea and it brings the much needed warmth in your day!
