Finally introducing our first tea in 2021 from the queen of hills, Darjeeling! It was a long wait but trust us, it is going to be worth it. A high altitude oolong from 2021 Autumn season, this is one of the most exquisite teas we have ever tasted from the region.

A floral delight, the perfume like floral notes just stand out like none other! The dry leaf has a sweet aroma of milk chocolate and oranges. When placed on the heated ware, the beautiful golden tippy leaf blasts off a creamy aroma along with the signature floral notes. The first infusion has notes of cream, milk chocolate and clematis flammula. There is a hint of walnut on the finish as well. Ther overall taste is definitely floral but the undertones of cream, milk chocolate and walnuts add a nice complexity to the liquor, especially in the first infusion and make it feel even more luxurious to drink. The second infusion has notes of chrysanthemum, marigold and has an overall musky feel to it. The floral palatte of this tea is incredibly difficult to describe and the easiest way to describe it would be calling it perfumy with dominant notes of marigold, chrysanthemum and clematis flammula. The third infusion has the same floral notes but with a fruity aftertaste resembling custard apple and muskmelon. If you do a western brew, all of these notes get evenly extracted into the first infusion and make for an incredibly complex liquor with a rich mouthfeel. We would recommend you try this tea both gongfu style and western style at least once!
