Introducing our first Assam tea from Autumn harvest, the 2023 Assam Autumn Gold. Tinali 17 and S3A3 cultivars make this gorgeous looking tippy tea. Grown using completely agrochemical free methods, the clean liquor is a testament to the possibilities of agrochemical free farming even in a low altitude terroir like Assam.

The dry leaf has a beautiful tippy look along with a sweet malty aroma. When placed on the heated ware, you get the sweetness along with a nice woody note. The liquor aroma is unlike anything we've ever had before. The sweet jaggery note is as sweet as eating jaggery itself. On your first sip, you get notes of malt, jaggery and honey. On further sips, you notice the pleasant dryness with just a touch of astringency. The sweetness is what makes the tea stand out once again and that elevates every other note this tea has to offer. There's a milky touch to it as well, making it taste like a jaggery + milk dessert but with a flavour of malty Assam tea. A perfect tea to wake you up, we hope you enjoy the depths this gem has to offer.
